White Wolf Extends Round One Deadline for Submission in $20,000 Fiction Contest to April 15th

Atlanta, GA, March 7, 2005 — White Wolf Publishing is looking for a few good fiction authors and giving them a few extra weeks to make the cut.

Last winter, White Wolf launched a search for new fiction writers, putting up $20,000.00 in cash prizes. The first round of the contest, in which prospective authors submit a brief synopsis pitching their novel, was originally set to end March 31st, 2005. But White Wolf will now accept synopses until Friday, April 15th, 2005.

The extension was necessitated by the brief delay in the release of Werewolf: The Forsaken to Monday, March 14th. That would have given authors interested in proposing a novel based on Werewolf only two weeks to acquire the book, process its contents and put together a synopsis. The new April 15th deadline gives prospective Werewolf authors a better chance to get to know the property.

The other details of the contest remain unchanged. Ultimately one winner will be awarded a writing contract with White Wolf and receive a $10,000.00 advance on future royalties. A variety of other runners up will share a further $10,000.00 in cash prizes.
